Deepening the Well NEW DAYTIME SLOT

  • Do you feel disconnected from your Self?
  • Are you caught up in the busy-ness of day to day and neglect that which nourishes you?
  • Do you long to be witnessed and seen for who you are?
In the busy-ness of day to day life it often feels as if there isn't enough time for ourselves. Come, take time to slow down and reconnect. Deepen within through sitting in circle, engaging in art, meditation, journey work and writing. These sessions provide a space to honor your sacred self in the presence of others. Join like-minded people in this safe, relaxing environment.
*Please bring a Journal for writing and/or drawing.

February 7: Connecting with Spiritual Guidance
We all have the ability to connect with guidance. Whether it comes through angels, animals, our ancestors or another form unique to us. Come with questions for your guides and/or an intention to know more about yourself or your life.

February 14: Symbols
This language of the unconscious offers us a gateway to understanding deeper levels of ourselves. Enrich your life through the exploration of symbols. Bring a symbol that represents some aspect of where you are at on your journey.

February 21: Drum Journey: The First Tool of the Shaman
Allow the heart beat of the drum to move you into the Sacred place of your heart. Connect with your spiritual guidance through totem and power animals.

February 28: Mandalas
This archetypal image signifies the wholeness of Self. Create a Mandala, learn about yourself and witness how it reflects some aspect of your inner world.

Journaling as Self-Care
Many people journal for self-awareness, but journaling can also increase self-care and compassion, which research shows are absolutely vital to physical health. Yet, for many, compassion for self seems an impossible discipline!

In this course you will learn:
  • writing exercises and short meditations to deepen your patience and self-acceptance,
  • strategies for joyful self-care.
Living Consciously
Building on the self-awareness and self-care courses, the third course of this unit will help you see how you unconsciously create unhealthy patterns, relationships and circumstances in your life. Once you are aware of your own activity, you can begin to empower yourself to create different patterns that nurture health, joy and well-being.

Shambhala Meditation: Joy in Everyday Life NEW

Share in a basic meditation technique that predates all world religions, a practice that has lasted centuries because of its simplicity, power and ability to offer peace from the constant agitation and hyper-stimulation of busy urban lives. Through an exploration of the Buddhist and Shambhala teachings on intelligent compassion towards others and the inherent goodness of your naturally calm, clear mind, you will begin to settle yourself and discover the joy of discipline, health and bravery.

These short periods of meditation will affect your daily life, opening space for stability, clarity, health and mental strength. Discipline will manifest as freedom: you will not have to act on every thought or feeling. In the deepening calm, you will be able to face challenges bravely and compassionately. This course is suitable for participants of all levels, including beginners.

Discover how to grow peace from the inside-out, building spiritual self-understanding and compassionate relationships. We will focus on shifting from problem to possibility, drawing on our strengths, our capacities, and our innate wisdom. To support this journey of human transformation we will employ Dr. Marshall Rosenberg’s masterwork, his 4-step relational process of Compassionate/ Nonviolent Communication (NVC).

Your energy boundaries are an extension of your personal boundaries, a field that can protect you from other's emotional storms, but can also hold onto negative emotions. In this course, you will learn concrete techniques for developing healthy energy boundaries that allow you to remain receptive and open to others while maintaining a protective, clear and balanced field for yourself.

Letting Go of Emotional Distress - FINALLY NEW

Do you have painful memories, grief or anxiety that just seems stuck?

Research has shown that therapies that incorporate the subtle energy systems (meridians, chakras and the fields surrounding the body) tend to bring about more rapid and thorough change, even with long standing concerns. This is because the interventions do not rely on insight and understanding; they work with the subtle energy system to release thoughts and emotions.

In this group you will learn to use the subtle energy systems to work on your concerns independently.

Why a group format?
Our energy fields are connected. The energy field of a group is greater than the sum of each individual. So when there is a common intention, the collective energy around that intention is stronger and can be used for healing and change.

Time Commitment:
• 4 sessions: 1st session of one half hour and 3 sessions of one hour each
• First session is private to obtain a history of your concern, identify an appropriate goal, and obtain consent to participate.

Foot Reflexology for Couples

Learn to give a reflexology treatment to another person. You will receive a booklet showing areas of the feet that are worked to provide healing and/or relaxation. Art from the Heart
Art is not just for artists. Playing with art provides space to get out of normal thinking patterns, opening opportunities to see yourself and your past with new eyes and a new heart. Expressing yourself through art helps you care more for yourself, give yourself the benefit of the doubt, and be patient with yourself. In this course, you will be guided into using art to deepen self-compassion, healing and joy.
No art experience required.


Awakened Movement
We carry years of negative messages in our bodies --in how we hold ourselves, how we respond to others and how we move through the world. By bringing awareness to your body through movement, play and meditation, you will be led to explore the patterns of thinking and feeling that are built into your body. Through movement, you will discover new possibilities for emotional, cognitive, physical and social integration. Suitable for all activity and health levels.
No previous dance experience required.

Magic of the Drum
Drumming is an ancient practice that builds personal and community well-being. Research shows that drumming lowers blood pressure, increases energy, reduces stress, strengthens the immune system and nurtures positive self-awareness. You will be introduced to drumming as a source of joy and healing, laying aside any discouraging assumptions about yourself and your abilities.
No musical or drumming experience required.
